16 STEP MAINTENANCE & CLEANING PROGRAM

Remove Toner / Paper Dust and Other Contaminants From Fusing Assembly

This is the most common maintenance item in the machine, generating high repair bills. We remove contaminants before they can do damage.

Check Fusing Assembly Gears And replace as Necessary

Damaged units can be repaired at a discounted price.

Replace or Clean Machine Filters

Filters only last one year and must be replaced or cleaned for proper air circulation.

Replace or Clean Image Transfer Assembly

Transfer assembly attracts toner and should be cleaned or replaced for peak performance.

Inspect, Replace Or Clean Separation Pads And Rollers

As these begin to wear out multiple sheets may feed into the printer causing printer jams. A new pad prevents this.

Inspect And Clean Pick-up Rollers

Pick up rollers can become slick and ineffective over time. Un-catorable rollers and pads can be replaced at time of service at a discounted price.

Inspect Laser Scanner For Alignment

Inspect And Clean Beam To Drum Optical Path and Mirror

The Path and mirror can become so cloudy that print quality will be effected.

Inspect and Clean Registration Rollers

Solvent cleaning usually restores their original texture, reducing the frequency of paper jams

Clean Exit Rollers

Solvent usually restores them to there original texture. Unrestorable rollers need to be replaced at customer's expense.

Clean and Lubricate fan Assembly

A little cleaning will help keep a fan going for years.

Tighten Or Replace Screws And Check Grounding Straps

Loose grounds can cause bizarre and unpredictable failures.

Lubricate Machine With Appropriate High Temperature Grease

Over time paper dust, toner and dirt combine to dry out lubricant, making re-lubrication necessary.

Clean Electronic Boards

Static memory chips can be damaged with the build up of paper dust, toner and dirt.

Check And Reset Cable Connectors

Connectors can wiggle loose from the vibration of moving the moving parts.
